FANATICAL supporters of former President Donald Trump are convinced he has been “got at” after he appeared to confess to a crime that is not on the statute books in any part of his country.

Amid chants of “USA, USA, USA”, Trump told his adoring audience that they had to save their country. Then he said that the only crime he was guilty of was fearlessly defending their nation.

Immediately, some of the more educated members of the crowd, who had been strategically placed, gasped. You could hear it behind the raucous chants and the music that accompanied them. “He’s been got at,” someone remarked. “Musta happened at his arrest. Bastards!”

“Oh my God,” said a Vietnam veteran from Montana, “what have they done to him? It’s not a crime to fearlessly defend America, is it? If it is, I’m in trouble, so’s my whole AirCav unit. Shit, no one told me that.” Others echoed his fears.

Another supporter turned to those around and said: “He’s been brainwashed, it’s like the Manchurian Candidate. God knows what else he will admit to. Someone has to stop him. Before he confesses to the Kennedy assassination.”

“Yes, they’ve been trying to get a Republican on that one since Goldwater,” said another. “Those commie-lovin’ pinkos, they will destroy our country. USA, USA, USA!”

No word has been received as to whether the prosecution in New York is planning to accept Trump’s confession and place it on the indictment.
