IN A DESPERATE attempt to get Russian men to man up and die for the motherland, the Russian Government produced a slick advert to get more men into its armed forced.

“Apparently, the sons of Mother Russia have not been as enthusiastic as their leaders would like when it comes to being killed in Ukraine,” says PR Guru Nicholas Romanov. “So the Kremlin went on a guilt-trip offensive, which appears to be working as well as all its other offensives.

“Well, the advert got picked up on social media, and some algorithm mistook it for an encouragement to gender transition and hey presto it’s on the screens of the entire world’s trans community in five minutes.

“Next thing the Kremlin is inundated with inquiries about gender transitioning in Russia. But not many volunteers for the army.

“Same same but different,” as they say in Asia.
