FOLLOWING ITS CELEBRATION OF former SS soldier Yaroslav Hunka, Canada may now find itself in the gun-sights of Russian President Vladimir Putin in his self-proclaimed de-Nazification drive.

The Russian hard man has listed a desire to de-Nazify Ukraine as one of the key reasons his troops invaded last year,

“The sight of the Canadian Parliament giving a standing ovation to a former Ukrainian member of the Waffen SS demonstrates that Mr Putin’s problems appear to extend well beyond Kyiv and the Donbass,” says ex-KGB Colonel turned ex-patriate oligarch Oleg Stalingrad. “I know the prisoners in Auschwitz used to call the cushy job of sorting victims’ belongings, Kanada, but I never thought the SS, who guarded the death camp, had the same relationship with Canada. That said, aren’t the Canadians loosening the Euthanasia laws there? So, maybe Mr Hunka has more sympathizers in Ottawa than we thought. The really awkward question, that no one appears to be asking, is what this fellow was doing in the company of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy? Frankly I’m glad I live in Cyprus and am out of it all.”
