THE VIOLENCE HAS only just started and Hollywood is awash with rumors of a movie deal telling the story of the Israel-Hamas War.

“Names of big stars are being thrown around like basketballs,” says David Larry, a top agent to the stars. “Pacino, De Niro, Stallone, all the action heroes are in the frame; even Michael Caine who has recently turned 90 and says he’s retiring. Los Angeles insiders say that with computer assistance Caine could easily play Bibi Netanyahu.”

Caine, who is famous for his line “You’re only supposed to blow the bloody doors off”, in the Italian Job in 1969, has already played Stalin in a film.

“It’s all to play for really,” says Larry. “A script treatment is doing the rounds – just waiting to see what happens when the Israelis go in.”
