THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION insists that its decision to continue the Mexican border wall started by Donald Trump does not mean he was right and they were wrong.

“It’s an entirely different construct,” said a White House spokesman. “His was a tyrannical fascist-like barrier to peace and empathy, ours is an encouragement to mutual understanding. We will be painting our barrier in pride colors and broadcasting group identity lectures from its surface. We’re not saying you’re not welcome, we’re just saying the office isn’t open right now but feel free to express your feelings.”

Visitors to the US-Mexican border, who say the place is an unmitigated shambles have been criticized by Democratic politicians who insist that words like ‘invasion” are deeply offensive to millions of people from around the world who merely want to express their recognition of the benefits of American residency.

“If that is the case, then they should be shown California before they ever try to make the journey here,” a Republican senator remarked, in reply.
