UKRAINE LEADER DISCOVERS WESTERN PROMISES WORTH LESS THAN ARGENTINE PESO

“BASICALLY YOU HAVE to win your war inside the time-frame of the average streaming service series season or the West just gives up. Fail to do that and Western promises aren’t worth the oxygen they cost to make. Shit, they aren’t even worth an Argentine peso.”

The words of a former senior consultant to the United States Department of Defense make sober reading for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his beleaguered country.

“The West just doesn’t like pain,” explained psychologist Walter Nulius at a recent meeting of the How Rome Fell Institute in Germany. “Remember, our societies are dedicated to the elimination of pain and suffering. Laudable, perhaps, until you either require your young men to die in their hundreds of thousands to defend their pain-free utopias, or you have to pay someone else to die in a similar fashion on your behalf. We have reached a situation where even the latter is too much to bear. The pattern since Vietnam has been there to see, for anyone who wants to look.”

Vince Taskspa, who once played lead guitar with Israeli Punk Band Anything You Can Do We Can Do Far Worse, and also attended the meeting in Germany, remarked that “societies that lose faith in themselves, don’t die; they’re herded like sheep”. He said that the Ukrainians would be better off telling the West to take a running jump and start making their own weapons. “You can’t rely on the promises of people who don’t even believe in themselves,” he said at the end of his address.
