A DRAFT text message found by Israeli troops in Gaza shows Hamas fighters had established a lottery prize for who among them could guess how long it would take for what they term “Foolish Wokers” in the West to call for a ceasefire once Israel had launched an all-out offensive against them in response to their attack of October 7th.
The text message which states that the ceasefire call strategy “appears to be going to plan”, when inquiring if a bet could still be placed, also wondered if the Israelis would eventually bow to international pressure. “No point in putting down money if the Jews are too bone-headed to listen. And I understand that several calls for ceasefire actually took place before the Israelis attacked. Is that fair?”
The draft message was found on the remains of a dead teenager.
