AUSTRALIA’S NATIONAL BROADCASTER, the ABC, is being used as a model by North Korea to train its own journalists in how to be robotic slavish ideologues while maintaining an air of arrogant, self-righteous certainty while they talk to *the autocratic state’s imprisoned millions.

Kim Jong Un, the chubby North Korean leader with the deathly grin, was said to be highly impressed when he watched an hour-long compilation of Australia’s ABC coverage of the recent Voice Referendum, the 2017 Marriage Equality campaign and the ongoing climate change debate.

“He was amazed at the disciplined message, the conceited, sanctimonious uniformity of the personnel, the extraordinary ability to back one side of an argument virtually one hundred percent while maintaining the fiction of equal opportunity. The obvious contempt for anything they don’t agree with. He is said to have clapped and actually shouted: ‘We can learn from these people. We have to. They are world champions. My father would have been embarrassed by what I see on the ABC. Even Josef Stalin might have choked on his vodka if his regime had carried propaganda in the manner of the ABC. And I can see that little fascist cripple Josef Goebbels laughing at himself, asking how could he have been so soft?’“
