British acting favorite, Cillian Murphy, has touched the stars..

Murphy, speaking English of course, told an A-List celebrity-studded gathering in Los Angeles that he was a “very proud … man” as he raised his Oscar above his head in a manner reminiscent of Bobby Moore holding the Jules Rimet Trophy after England’s legendary 1966 World Cup victory over Germany.

With this victory, Murphy joins other British treasures, like Daniel Day Lewis, who have won Oscars for Best Actor.
