SPY AGENCY RAISES LIKELIHOOD OF AUSTRALIAN GOVT STUPIDITY FROM POSSIBLE TO PROBABLE

CANBERRA

AUSTRALIA’S MOST SECRET spy agency has warned that the likelihood of Australia’s Labor Government doing something stupid during its remaining months in office has moved from possible to probable.

The Centre for Unknown National Threats, which is so secret that none of its members know any of the others, has broken with its tradition of quiet anonymity to warn of what is describes as an existential menace stalking the lucky country.

“Normally we deal in the unknown unknowns, but we have been watching this gathering threat grow since the Albanese Government came into office,” said a spokesman. “And we feel we cannot, in all conscience, stay quiet any longer about the danger it presents. They are probably – no, probably almost certainly – going to do something stupid in the remaining months of their tenure. So we say to the Australian people, if you see Albo or anyone in his government doing or planning to do, something stupid, report it. Don’t let it pass. Even if all your life you have seen politicians of every hue acting like idiots. This time try and stop it.”
