These are said to be the very words Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu whispered to Donald Trump when the American President was told of Ireland’s fury at his Gaza redevelopment plan.

“Pretend to take them seriously, then offer their construction industry a piece of the pie and they’ll soon shut up! These people are the lowest kind of virtue signalers. They beat their breasts about things that they have no proximity to, no vital interest in, and no real chance of loss from.
