IF IRAN KEEPS raining down missiles in the numbers it has been firing at Israel, some of them could fall on the Palestinian lands of the West Bank and Gaza, an expert has warned.
“Iran is firing missiles like they were volleys of arrows, with little real direct targeting, which means that if any of them go a little off course, they could land among the Palestinians of the West Bank and Gaza,” says Dr Sal Rush of the Islamic State University in Damascus, Syria.
The academic said that, short missiles could even hit Syria, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon if the war continues for a long time. “One of these things is bound to go off course and hit something it’s not aimed at. I’m wearing a helmet again. I thought we were over this kind of thing here. It’s not bad enough that we had a vicious civil war in Syria, now these two are playing missile ping pong over our heads.”
