AUSCHWITZ
THE PLACING OF a mock migrant boat, complete with, dark-skinned, life-jacketed migrant figures, on top of an Ulster Loyalist bonfire in Co Tyrone, while it has caused cries of ‘disgusting and vile’ from some quarters, has also seen its makers reach the short list for the prestigious Eichmann Award, given for Europe’s most intolerant art installation.
“This is some achievement for Ulster’s Loyalists, who have been in the running for the award for decades,” says Willi Dirlewanger, former Standartenfuhrer with the SS Totenkopf Division, who at 110, is one of the panel of judges based in South America.
“Ja, these Loyalists always seemed to us a second-rate Ku Klux Klan until now, but the message that darkie migrants need to be burned in their boats, that raises them beyond the mere desire to clean their society of Catholics, And, what do you know, it’s made them friendlier with their old hate figures in Ireland. Every cloud, as we used to say in Treblinka when the corpses were burning. White is right, no?”
