THE FLEET THAT attacked Pearl Harbor eighty four years ago was British, not Japanese, according to a revisionist historian, who claims a secret plot by Winston Churchill to get America into the war in 1941 saw British aircraft carriers using Japanese aircraft sink the US Pacific Fleet that Sunday .

“Those carriers off Hawaii were clearly British vessels,” says Dr Luther Mendace of the Grassy Knoll Institute, a conspiracy think tank based in Dallas . “They were there to bring America into the war against Japan, and, even more importantly, against Germany. And they succeeded in spades. The British also attacked the Philippines and other US bases in the Pacific region, right as the Japanese were launching wars of liberation against the European empires in Asia. It was fiendish but it worked.”

Dr Mendace is author of several books on World War Two which upend traditional narratives. His most recent was America’s Conquest of Britain 1940-1956, which is short-listed for the Papa Doc History Prize. An earlier tome, How Cricket Civilized Australia, was short-listed for two international awards, while his thin pamphlet Ukraine Is Clearly The Aggressor has won serious support among internet commentators across America.
