SYDNEY
ALL ONE HUNDRED thousand plus demonstrators who marched across the Sydney Harbour bridge, in August, to protest against Israel’s attack on Hamas in Gaza, and show support for Palestine, may well find themselves on a terrorist watch list following the Bondi Beach massacre, says an expert.
“If the killers went on that march or any other similar march, or even talked to someone who did, then it’s likely that anyone that stood on the bridge will go on America’s terrorist watch list,” says Colonel Rapids Kragg, a former Green Beret who now advises US visa applicants on their prospects. “The Trump White House will want them all identified and labelled. And, frankly, it’s just easier to ban them all from America than try and sort out the good from the bad. So. And any US watch list will go round the world with a strong suggestion that everyone on it be denied access to every country it reaches, so to speak. So all those well-meaning individuals who think all this begins and ends with the fate of Gaza’s civilians, if they have plans to visit the USA they might want to do it now.”
