BBC HAS NO PLANS FOR NEW SHOW TAKING VIEWERS THROUGH HOMES OF MASSACRE VICTIMS

LONDON

FOLLOWING ITS APOLOGY for a news report from the home of victims of the October 7, 2025 Hamas attacks on Israel, BBC sources say that while the idea of someone like International Editor Jeremy Bowen, or perhaps talk show host Graham Norton, or even someone from Love Actually, leading audiences through the homes of victims of brutal massacres has quaint potential, there are no plans to pursue such a project as of now.

“Remember, these specific people survived – hence the apology – and while their wrecked home was truly fascinating, especially as the viewers did not know if they were alive or dead at the time Jeremy B sent his report, this whole business of needing to obtain permission for our broadcast teams to enter and film such properties is fraught with difficulty,” said an insider, “particularly in cases where the occupants have actually been slaughtered. You have to think of the optics too. I mean ghastly scenes of bloated human cadavers and whatnot might just put people off and probably would not make it past the broadcast regulators. They’re very picky these days. And then there’s the compo and the fact that we have Donald Trump breathing down our necks. Nonetheless, we’ll keep the whole idea in the files for future reference. In case the Donald sends an aircraft carrier after us. Look, maybe someone from Love Actually would work.”
