A FRESH INTELLIGENCE report outlining conversations among several European and other leaders suggests that the reason they are unwilling to join Donald Trump in keeping the Straits of Hormuz open for oil traffic, is the deployment by Iran of a new missile system, code-named Scardycat.

“The system operates on the mind rather than in reality,” explained Mossad officer Yeshua, a former Galilean carpenter who counsels Israeli spies before they are deployed on operations. “The Scardycat is everywhere and nowhere; it destroys what is not even there and prevents action even when such action is demanded by reality. It preys on fear and destroys its targets from within. Once you have been locked onto by a Scardycat, it is virtually impossible to shake it off. And, honestly, we have no defences against it. Our people, and the Americans, we both appear to have developed some kind of an immunity; but that’s just us. Call it faith if you like.
