THE DEATH OF tough guy actor Chuck Norris has seen calls from fans for President Donald Trump to name an aircraft carrier after the fallen star.

Norris, whose name is a by-word for bad-ass action and martial arts fury, is known to have played a significant role in bringing down the Soviet Union.

Videos of his movies circulating behind the Iron Curtain led to a wave of Norris mania, with young people across the Soviet sphere dreaming of throwing off Communism and being the next all-American Chuck Norris.

He was said to have been so tough that one look from him could break diamond.

His screen fight with Kung Fu hero Bruce Lee, in the Colosseum, in Rome, is the stuff of legend.

While they mourn his passing, fans everywhere believe that a carrier named Chuck Norris would put the fear of God into America’s enemies.

It could even force Iran to capitulate.
