MAJORITY OF IRISH NOW ACCEPT GREAT FAMINE THEIR FAULT AND THAT THEY HAD STARVATION AND DEATH COMING – HISTORIAN

BY REINHARD HEYDRICH-CHURCHILL

A LEADING British historian claims that Ireland’s embrace of vigorous free-market capitalism and low-tax neo-colonial industry, means that a majority of its people now accept that the logic of the British reaction to the Great Famine in the 1840s – callous, genocidal, free-market capitalism, was correct.

Professor Hubert Humptydum, Extraordinary Plenipotentiary in Catastrophe Economics at the University of Merdre in France, maintains that those laissez-faire capitalists who oversaw the starvation and death, have, to all intents and purposes, proven that the whole mess was the fault of the Irish.

“Oh, yes, it’s a done deal now, and I think the Irish are good with the fact that they had it coming. Look at them. Richest country in Europe and half the population can’t find a proper home. Most of the economy given over to foreign multinationals who repatriate most of their profits. Charles Trevelyan, the famine overseer, he would be proud of his creations. He made them the ruthless slavish bastards they have become. They should erect a statue to him,”
