AMERICAN DEMOCRATS, IN a desperate move to topple the Republicans from the Presidency, are quietly proposing that the party should support Donald Trump’s idea to allow for more than two terms in the White House, and then run Barack Obama against him in the 2028 election.

“Obama is still the jewel in our crown,” said a Democrat senator; “vital, popular, and relatively young, and yet we can’t run him because of a constitutional amendment passed over seventy years ago by people scared of the ghost of Franklin Roosevelt. Well, past is past, so let’s repeal the term limit amendment, just like Trump says he wants, and he can face off against our boy. Good luck, Donald.”
