RISE OF THE FEMALE RIGHT PUTS PAID TO PATRIARCHY

PARIS

MARINE LE PEN, Georgia Meloni, Alice Weidel, Kemi Badenoch, Pauline Hanson, Eva Vlaardingerbroek, it’s a crowded room, the female right. And it’s been quietly growing, almost unnoticed.

In the face of hard left gender identity feminism, which usually exists on the fringes, infiltrating protest groups, manufacturing causes like IEDs, nursing uncountable grievances, taking offence at just about everything, screaming from the streets and the internet in increasing volume, there has been a far more influential female movement taking shape, on the right of politics, involving actual vote-winning political parties all led by women. Espousing a conservative and right wing agenda, they somewhat give the lie to the accusation that the world is run by any kind of patriarchy. In Italy, Germany, Britain and France, even in macho Australia for heaven’s sake, women are at the top of right-wing politics. One is even a lesbian. Another is black (You cannot be African-American in Britain). And a third has very red hair. These women are leading genuine revolutions while their sisters on the other side of politics just continue to scream and take offence.
