IF THE EARTH heats up enough, it could begin to reverse its spin, says a top climate expert.
“Should the planet warm enough, then the moisture on the surface will evaporate and rise into the atmosphere,” says Roger Littleiceage, a former nuclear bomber pilot turned scientist.
“This could provide enough friction to actually slow the planet’s spin down.
“This, in turn, would bring the earth’s liquid metal core to a halt though it would be like water hitting a high river bank and could easily reverse course which may well cause the whole sphere to begin to spin backwards to its original direction. Meanwhile the moisture which caused the friction that halted the Earth’s spin would leak off into space and the planet would be free to resume its new spinning pattern. Watch this space.”
